Livn Partners with Leezair to Boost In-Destination Sales

Livn has integrated with Leezair, an online travel marketplace, enabling travellers to discover and book experiences on the go in 182 countries.

Leezair connects with travellers through its website, two mobile apps and the Leezair Travel Partner Network™ which features white label agreements with thousands of hotels, digital services, customer kiosks and Virtual Reality services.

Steve Martinez, Founder of Livn, which is connected to more than 700,000 live tours and activities through its API says Leezair is a perfect fit.

“To be successful in this space you’ve got to sell to people when they are ready to book and for tours and activities that is when travellers are in-destination looking for things to do. The busiest booking period for tours and activities suppliers is within 48 hours of the start time, and Leezair’s distribution network is perfectly positioned to capitalise on the spontaneous nature of this growing space.”, says Martinez.

Leezair founder Enguerrand Vidor says, “We are working very closely with Livn and share the same vision to offer live bookings of tours, activities and experiences while increasing supplier conversion rates. Livn supports our engineering team with the maintenance of more booking systems, which is very important for our operations as we need live availabilities and timing is key in our industry.”

Vidor says Leezair has a unique vision and is growing rapidly.

“Our mobile model has proven to be extremely effective and we are now branching out into new distribution channels such as hotels or airlines, allowing our partners to earn ancillary revenue they wouldn’t otherwise have.”

A key point of difference for both companies is that they focus on live availability and instant booking. Martinez warns retailers to choose their tours and activities aggregator carefully because most do not offer live content.

“If retailers are not correctly wired, they are going to miss the real business opportunity”.
